KINGSTON, Jamaica – The United States Embassy in Kingston was this morning placed on lockdown after a bag with unknown items was thrown at the front of the premises.
Senior officers of the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) said that at about 11:00 am a car slowed down at the premises and people travelling in the vehicle threw out a black bag.
“The embassy was immediately placed on lock down and members of the bomb squad were sent to the location,” said the senior officer.
