Tropical Storm Danny Upgraded To First Hurricane Of The 2015 Season

Tropical Storm Danny has now been upgraded to the first hurricane of the 2015 Atlantic Hurricane Season.
At present Danny, is a category one hurricane and some additional strengthening is forecast during the next 48 hours.
However, forecasters say Danny may weaken into a tropical storm before it reaches the eastern Caribbean early next week.
On its current path, Danny will pass over the Eastern Caribbean on Monday and by Tuesday it will be just southeast of Puerto Rico.
According to the National Hurricane Centre in Miami, Danny is about 1100 miles east of the Windward Islands and is packing winds of 75 miles per hour.
The National Hurricane Centre says the storm is moving West-Northwest at 12 mph.
