Mike Henry A No-Show In Parliament As Cameron Visits House

News post September 30, 2015

Mike Henry had declared that if the issue of reparation was not on the agenda for discussion he would not attend the sitting.

Member of Parliament for Central Clarendon Mike Henry was noticeably absent from this morning’s joint sitting of the Houses of Parliament where British Prime Minister David Cameron made an address to lawmakers.

Henry had declared that if the issue of reparation was not on the agenda for discussion he would not attend the sitting.

Meanwhile, scores of diplomats, dignitaries, senior government technocrats and members of the legal fraternity attended the special sitting of parliament.

However, there were a number of empty chairs which might be an indication that some invited guests did not show.
