Jamaica has now secured nine medals at the 2015 World Championships with the prospect for five more from the remaining events.

Here is a list of the medallists so far:

Usain Bolt: 100m, 9.79 seconds – Gold
Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce: 100m, 10.76 – Gold
Usain Bolt: 200m, 19.56 – Gold
Danielle Williams: 100m hurdles, 12.57 –  Gold

Elaine Thompson: 200m, 21.66 seconds- Silver
Hansle Parchment: 110m hurdles, 13.03 seconds- Silver

Odayne Richards: Shot put, 21.69 metres – Bronze
Shericka Jackson: 400m – 49.99 seconds – Bronze
Veronica Campbell-Brown: 200m, 21.97seconds – Bronze

Kenya – 6 gold, 3 silver, 2 bronze. Total: 11
United States – 4 gold, 4 silver and 6 bronze. Total:14
Jamaica – 4 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze. Total: 9
